He describes it as a ... some kind of extension of the American imperialist programme crossed with a massive information-gathering tool and berates it's cursed ability to breakdown face to face human communication. Here's where it gets into the nitty gritty. Hodginson takes an in-depth look at the 3 board members who are shaping Facebook as a world domination tool - Peter Thiel (who has been portrayed as dabbling in right wing, neoconservative pastimes), Zuckerberg and Jim Breyer ( shown to have indirect connections to CIA and thus the concerns over privacy). Very interesting read.
